CONVOTIS drives Europe’s AI innovation with DeployAI

CONVOTIS has achieved a significant success together with the Fraunhofer Institute: participation in the EU project DeployAI. The project, which is funded with 28 million euros as part of the European Commission’s Digital Europe program, is setting new standards in the application and integration of AI technologies in European industry and the public sector.

Core functions of the AI-on-demand platform

DeployAI aims to facilitate the accessibility and implementation of AI solutions across Europe. At its core is the AI-on-Demand (AIoD) platform, a state-of-the-art Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution developed by CONVOTIS. This platform offers advanced automation and efficiency enhancement capabilities and is equipped with a robust governance framework that ensures the highest standards in software development.

Secure cloud integration & data spaces

In addition, CONVOTIS provides a comprehensive containerized DevOps platform for all 28 partners of the implementation consortium and develops a digital market platform with an Enterprise Operations Portal. These innovative solutions promote interoperability and collaboration within the European AI ecosystem and drive efficiency and connectivity.

CONVOTIS is also responsible for the operation and management of the AIoD platform and its integration with high-performance computing systems and data spaces in the METRO CLOUD private cloud environment. This infrastructure ensures the secure and efficient use of AI resources and strengthens Europe’s technological sovereignty.

The project was officially launched during a kick-off meeting on February 29 and March 1, 2024 in Berlin and brings together 28 partners from 13 European countries.
