Cosentino is a global manufacturer of premium surfaces for architecture and interior design, based in Spain.
With brands like Silestone®, Dekton®, and Sensa, Cosentino delivers end-to-end solutions in over 110 countries. To improve the coordination of product launches, the company needed a platform to manage planning, execution, and reporting – fully integrated with internal systems like SAP, Salesforce, and SuccessFactors for centralized control.
Status quo
Previously, Cosentino managed product launches using spreadsheets and disconnected systems.
Tasks were assigned manually and progress tracking was inconsistent. There was no unified platform to coordinate planning, task delegation, and status reporting across regions and teams. A scalable, integrated application was required to streamline launch activities and provide real-time project insights.
The challenge
The new solution needed to manage multiple product launches simultaneously across global markets.
Integration with SAP, Salesforce, and SuccessFactors was essential to leverage existing enterprise data. At the same time, the platform had to support multi-language use, mobile access, and real-time reporting. It also had to deliver structured planning, role-based task assignment, and data-driven oversight—within a secure, modular, and scalable architecture that supports containerization and DevOps pipelines.
The solution
CONVOTIS developed a scalable launch planning platform using Java 1.8, Spring Boot 2, Angular 7, Ionic 2, and Kubernetes.
The application features project-based task assignment, KPI dashboards, and cross-platform access. SAP, Salesforce, and SuccessFactors were integrated for user roles and data synchronization. Containerized deployment and modular design enable easy updates, multi-market rollout, and centralized reporting – all delivered via a secure cloud environment.
