The challenge
dreipol needed an infrastructure that supports any tech stack – fully flexible, secure, and highly available.
OpenShift was quickly identified as the ideal solution to provide maximum flexibility for a wide range of development projects.
However, hosting, maintaining, and securing an enterprise-grade OpenShift environment was not something dreipol wanted to manage internally. They needed a reliable partner to deliver 24/7 operations, monitoring, patching, and full compliance.
The solution
CONVOTIS implemented a fully managed OpenShift platform – tailored to dreipol’s specific requirements.
The solution runs on a highly secure private cloud infrastructure with geo-redundant backups, managed PostgreSQL database operations, and a communication gateway for sending emails and SMS.
One key component is the integrated object storage with MinIO, which enables dreipol’s developers to manage file permissions at the object level and generate individual links – a crucial capability for their technology stack. Continuous monitoring, patching, and secure remote access with two-factor authentication are also part of the managed service.
